Britain is a permanent member of UN Security Council, G8 and NATO, EU is a member. Britain since the 2nd World War, friendly relations with other European countries has continued. The UK has been a member the European Economic Community in 1973. Has a special relationship between Britain and the United States. U.S. and British non-European Union and the United Kingdom, Ireland, the only English speaking country and have an intimate relationship. Britain's global presence and impact is amplified further because of trade relations and military, more than 80 military bases around the world and is in keeping with other expeditionary force.
